Delaware’s Future Shines Bright

It would be difficult to find another town that offers as many extraordinary opportunities for superb education. Whitehall prides itself on being the type of place that’s born out of vivid imaginations and brought to life by today’s sharpest minds. That’s why we believe it’s of the utmost importance to fuel today's hungry minds and care for and help shape tomorrow’s best and brightest.

Elementary & Middle School

The transition from “young student” to “high schooler” is a vital step in the development of Whitehall’s children. Whitehall’s younger residents will be members of the Appoquinimink School District,  (Cedar Lane Elementary School and Alfred G Waters Middle School), the award winning and top-ranked school district in the state of Delaware.  Whether attending public or private school, students will learn from curricula that emphasizes respect, responsibility, global awareness and the pursuit of excellence.

High School

The focus of each school is to prepare its students for the next chapter of their lives come graduation day. Whether it’s attending Middletown High School, one of Delaware’s top-ranked schools; studying at St. Andrew’s, a preparatory academy; taking lessons at the award winning MOT Charter School; or focusing on technical studies at one of U.S. News & World Report’s “Best High Schools” like St. George’s, our students will develop a great sense of community, with a unique focus on the principles of global citizenship.

Community Based Education

No matter how long it’s been since you last stepped inside a classroom, continuing education opportunities near Whitehall at institutions like The University of Delaware and Wilmington University are vast. For a more local option, the Appoquinimink School District’s program is approved by the Delaware State Board of Education and accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
