Town of Whitehall Organizes Roadway Cleanup To Celebrate Earth Day

April 24, 2015 / ,

The Town of Whitehall and Whitehall Realty organized a roadway litter cleanup event with local residents of nearby developments, students from St. Georges Technical High School, employees of EDiS Company and volunteers from AdvoServ. Lowe’s of Middletown supplied work gloves for everyone who attended the event. The roadway cleanup, along Lorewood Grove Road in Middletown, was in celebration of Earth Day’s 45th Anniversary on Wednesday, April 22, 2015.

According to Whitehall Realty’s Nancy Fleming, “About fifty trash bags full of debris were collected by over two dozen volunteers. It was a great turnout and effort by a dedicated group of volunteers.”

It is important to The Town of Whitehall and the town’s brokerage firm, Whitehall Realty, to be good stewards of both the environment and the local community.
